The Asclepius Medical Building at 5120 J Street in Sacramento was completed in 1964. It contains 7 medical suites and was designed for client Dr. John Babich, a pediatrician. The site is an interior lot on a busy city street. The parking lot is recessed below the street to reduce its impact on the building and the surrounding residential area. The project originally included a bronze sculpture cast locally by artist Helen Post, a personal friend of the client’s family. It depicts Asclepius helping pain.

Received Masonry Institute Honor Award, 1964.
