4100 Folsom Blvd Apartments

The two and one half acre site was the previous location of the large Breuner Family mansion and garden. The building is on a major thoroughfare in an older, well-kept, neighborhood near the downtown area of Sacramento. On three sides of the site are single family residences. Requirements set forth by the contractor-owner included preserving the existing gardens and trees, but intensively utilizing the costly urban site.

The project was originally designed to house forty luxury apartments, a manager’s suite and related recreation and service facilities. The building was converted to condominiums and sold to local residents. While some of the interior homes have been remodeled over the years, the exterior remains relatively untouched. This complex remains one of the exclusive places to live in Sacramento.
